The Houston Texans stunned the NFL last season thanks to the coaching job of first-year head coach DeMeco Ryans and the play of rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud.
They finished 10-7, won the AFC South, and won a playoff game for the first time since 2019.
In a recent appearance on “Up & Adams,” Ryans talked about what makes his quarterback so tough to stop.
“When the ball is snapped, he’s one of the best at putting the ball wherever he wants to put it. … But I think the biggest part is that his leadership and competitiveness rubs off on everyone in our locker room,” Ryans said.
What’s the ONE thing that makes #Texans QB C.J. Stroud so hard to stop??

By most accounts, Stroud had one of the best rookie seasons in the history of the league last year.
The Offensive Rookie of the Year threw for more than 4,100 yards, tossed 23 touchdown passes and had a passer rating of 100.8.
He also set multiple NFL records, including the most passing yards by a rookie in a single game (470) and the most passing attempts to start a career without an interception (191).
The scary thing is that he will have even better weapons in 2024.
Houston traded for All-Pro wide receiver Stefon Diggs, as well as for Pro Bowl running back Joe Mixon.
Those moves are in addition to the team having a 1,000-yard receiver in Nico Collins and an exciting second-year pass-catcher in Tank Dell.
With Stroud playing the way he did, and with the way he is also leading the team, Houston seems to be more than on the rise.
