Denver Fans Show Their True Feelings About Russell Wilson

The Denver Broncos gave up a lot to get Russell Wilson.

Then, they doubled down on that commitment by signing him to a huge extension, and that’s despite not having him play one single snap for them before that.

Fast forward to today, and he’s no longer on the premises.

There were some reports about Wilson having a lot of power within the organization, and he didn’t live up to the hype or his big contract.

That’s why it’s not much of a surprise to see that Broncos fans don’t exactly love him right now.

Jake Shapiro of Denversports.com reported that fans at Ball Arena booed an old clip of Denver Nuggets star Michael Porter Jr. claiming that he was a big Russell Wilson fan.

MPJ’s canned video that was shot before the season that they just played here at Ball Arena got boo’d when he revealed he’s a big fan of Russell Wilson…

Truth be told, that’s not very fair to Wilson.

Even if he wasn’t very good in his first year at Mile High, Nathaniel Hackett also left a lot to be desired as head coach.

He was much better in his second season but Sean Payton seemed to not give him a fair chance.

The Broncos benched him and they made it look even worse by being willing to take the largest cap hit in NFL history just to get rid of him.

Wilson wasn’t that good, but the Broncos did him wrong, and he never did anything to infuriate the fans.
