Antonio Brown was one of the greatest NFL wide receivers of this era for many years.

The seven-time Pro-Bowler and four-time First-Team All-Pro All-Pro pass-catcher led the league in receptions and receiving yards multiple times.

He is a member of the league’s 2010s All-Decade Team after putting up seven 1,000-yard seasons.

The best years of his career came with Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2010-2018.

But after his magical nine-year run in Pittsburgh came to a close, he was traded to the Raiders in 2019, which is when everything went downhill for Brown.

He would later be released by the team before the start of the season because of multiple incidents off the field, including a verbal altercation with former GM Mike Mayock.

His former quarterback Derek Carr recently joined Pardon My Take to chat about his brief time with Brown.

“I loved AB…He’s the hardest practicing player I’ve ever seen in my life…He competes at just a different level…Hopefully, he’s a Hall-of-Famer,” Carr said.

First off, it is fair to say that Carr is one of the most honest and respected leaders in the game because of situations like this.

Brown was somewhat of a distraction for the squad, and Carr still has a very high opinion of him to this day.

After his couple of weeks with the Raiders, Brown eventually signed with the New England Patriots and played in one game before getting cut once again due to distractions.

He would go on to win a Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020 putting the cherry on top of what was a Canton career, at least on the field.
