The New Orleans Saints were one of the most disappointing teams in the league last season.
Some people expected Derek Carr to go on a revenge tour.
The Las Vegas Raiders seemed to do him wrong, and given the set of weapons he was going to have, and how winnable the NFC South Division seemed, expectations were high for the Fresno State product.
That’s why some fans weren’t exactly fond of Carr and his big salary, and one of them took to Instagram to call him out for being ‘a scammer.’
Carr, however, didn’t want to engage with this critic, and he simply claimed that he’s not doing that anymore (via JPA Football).

Unfortunately, HC Dennis Allen didn’t do much to help his case, and neither did OC Pete Carmichael Jr.
On top of that, Carr didn’t look healthy for the most part, and that also took a big toll on his game.
But with another season under his belt and one year of knowing his new teammates, he should fare a little better.
Most people thought Carr’s struggles were mostly a byproduct of the Raiders’ poor management and dysfunctional dynamics.
Even despite that, he led them to the playoffs and had some solid stats at one point.
Now, he’ll have another opportunity to prove that’s the case and that last season’s shortcomings were an anomaly.
