The Kansas City Chiefs currently have bragging rights over the rest of the National Football League.

Not only do they have the best player in the game but they’re also the back-to-back defending champions.

Of course, that always pumps the fans up, and Arrowhead Stadium has a reputation for being one of the loudest — if not the loudest — venues in all of professional football.

Ironically, however, that’s actually one of Derek Carr’s favorite places to play.

Talking to Chris Long on his podcast, Carr claimed that now that he was no longer playing for the Las Vegas Raiders, he could finally admit that he actually liked playing in the home of their divisional rivals (Via Green Light with Chris Long).

He even claimed that he had ‘one guy’ there who had always talked trash to him, whether they were winning or losing, up to the point where they’d even built a relationship over time.

The New Orleans Saints will get to travel to Arrowhead early in the season, so Carr will have another opportunity to meet up with his favorite heckler and play in one of the loudest venues in professional sports.

It’s nice to see that professional players actually acknowledge and even embrace some of the opposing fans, and there’s nothing wrong with that for as long as both parties keep the conversation respectful.

The Saints and Carr will be under a lot of pressure to deliver in 2024, and now that the fan knows how important he is to the opposing quarterback, he’s most definitely going to be looking forward to that game.
