Luka Doncic has drawn comparisons to the likes of Larry Bird, LeBron James, and Magic Johnson, and he has the potential to be one of the single-greatest players the game of basketball will ever see.
Nonetheless, his sidekick is not the second option; he’s 1B.
Kyrie Irving is one of the craftiest players the game has ever seen, and he’s the kind of guy who makes his current and former colleagues just give him his flowers.
Notably, former star point guard Deron Williams was the latest player to join that list.
Talking on The Players TV (via ClutchPoints), the Utah Jazz legend claimed that Irving was the most skilled player he had ever seen, adding that there was simply nothing he couldn’t do on the offensive end of the floor.
“Kyrie is the most skilled player I’ve ever seen, as far as just pure skill. There’s nothing on the offensive end that he can’t do… He’s a wizard with the basketball.”

Irving has the greatest handles in NBA history, and his balance is pretty much unmatched as well.
He thrives in the low post like a seven-footer thanks to that elite footwork of his, and his layup package knows no limits either.
While not a pass-first guy by any means, he’s more than capable of running and offense and making plays for everybody else, and he’s an efficient scorer from all three levels.
For whatever reason, Irving’s numbers have never been mesmerizing, but the eye test is just a beauty to watch.
