Not everyone is picking the Tennessee Titans to make the NFL playoffs this season, but the team hopes to surprise people and make some noise.
The Titans have Derrick Henry, who is one of the very best running backs in the league and had a nice bounce-back 2022 campaign after he was limited to just eight games in 2021 due to injury.
They have also added wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins to a roster that seriously lacked firepower at that position last season.
At this time last season, the Titans had some high expectations, as well as plenty of hype, and Henry talked about whether he prefers to deal with hype or with low expectations on NFL Network.

Henry ran for 1,538 yards and 13 touchdowns last season, and that production earned him his third Pro Bowl selection in the last four seasons.
But Tennessee was overly dependent on him, as they didn’t have a single wide receiver that reached 600 receiving yards.
Hopkins may be a bit diminished compared to a few years ago, but he is still a bona fide threat who will help the team right away.
He put up 717 yards and three touchdowns last season in nine games as a member of the Arizona Cardinals, and as recently as 2020, he amassed 1,407 receiving yards.
He will take pressure off Henry and possibly help quarterback Ryan Tannehill improve his production.
