Derrick Rose of the New York Knicks has been in the NBA since 2008.
As expected, he doesn’t play as much as he once did and age has definitely caught up with his body.
But Rose’s heart is still in the game.
According to Marc Spears, via NBACentral, Rose is still devoted to playing in the NBA and thinks he can keep it up.
“I still feel like I’m giving them my all. I still feel like I’m getting better. It may sound crazy, but it’s true. I still feel like I’m getting better,” Rose said.

During the 2022-23 season, Rose averaged just 12.5 minutes per game for his Knicks.
He produced 5.6 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists during his 27 games.
Although he feels like he is getting better, the numbers prove that isn’t the case.
Still, Rose has become an important part of the Knicks again.
The impact he has on the team’s culture and brotherhood is very important and it’s part of the reason why the team has pushed into the playoffs.
Additionally, his experience and expertise in the game cannot be overstated.
At 34 years old, Rose is nearing the end of his career.
A bunch of injuries have slowed him down over the years and his days of being a starter are gone.
But he has said in the past that he feels healthier than ever and has compared his physicality to his rookie year.
Knicks fans don’t mind that he doesn’t get a lot of time on the court, they still love Rose.
He is a hero to many New York followers and they are eager to get as much of him as possible.
They definitely want him to end his storied career with the Knicks.
