The clock is ticking for Deshaun Watson and the Cleveland Browns.
The team has given up a lot to get him, and they signed him to one of the biggest contracts in the game at the time.
On top of that, the contract was fully guaranteed, which is why some fans have already lost their patience with him.
Outside of a couple of good games, Watson has been fairly unimpressive since he arrived in Cleveland.
And even though he missed a big chunk of last season due to multiple injuries, he still managed to lead the league in an unfortunate statistical category.
As shown by NFL analyst Warren Sharp on Twitter, Watson had the highest rate of incompletions due to inaccurate passes in the entire NFL (minimum of 175 attempts), with a whopping 43.9%.
highest rate of incompletions due to inaccurate passes:
43.9% – Deshaun Watson
40.6% – Tyrod Taylor
38.8% – Trevor Siemian
37.7% – Bryce Young
36.7% – Lamar Jackson
36.2% – Jordan Love
36.1% – Trevor Lawrence
35.6% – C.J. Stroud
35.4% – Aidan O’Connell
35.0% – Kenny Pickett…

Some great quarterbacks struggle because their wide receivers fail to create separation or drop passes.
Watson, on the other hand, had almost half of his incompletions being his fault.
Granted, being away from the game for such a long time will obviously take a toll on his game and whatnot, but that’s a very worrisome sign for what’s to come.
The Browns brought Ken Dorsey in to be his new offensive coordinator, and he’s going to want Watson slinging the football down the field early and often, especially after also trading for Jerry Jeudy.
Watson needs to bring his A-Game next season; otherwise, the Browns might be forced to have some tough conversations about him and his future with the team.
