Former Seattle Seahawks star Richard Sherman is back in the news for questionable reasons.

According to a report by CNN, the former Super Bowl champion was arrested in King County, Washington, on Saturday over a suspicion of a DUI charge.

The star cornerback was going 79 mph in a 60 mph zone at about 2 a.m. when he was stopped by the Washington State Patrol in Bellevue.

Sherman admitted that he had a couple of margaritas, and he agreed to perform a voluntary test.

The report by CNN claims that Sherman’s eyes were watery and bloodshot, and there was ‘an odor of intoxicants’ in the vehicle.

He was later arrested and booked at the King County Correctional Facility, and this isn’t the first time he’s been on the wrong side of the law for this kind of thing.

Later, a judge found probable cause for DUI, thus he’s now expected to have a court hearing to address the conditions for his release.

The report doesn’t clarify whether Sherman has retained an attorney.

Also, a bail amount for his release hasn’t been set yet because the authorities have yet to discuss the conditions of his release, as per the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

Sherman is currently serving as a football analyst for Amazon, and he’s also a part of FOX’s debate shot Undisputed with Skip Bayless, joining Michael Irvin and Keyshawn Johnson and making regular appearances since Shannon Sharpe left the show to join First Take.
