The NBA has seen several massive scoring performances the past week, though Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker’s exploits have gone relatively under the radar.
Luka Doncic had the biggest showing with 73 points against the Atlanta Hawks, though Joel Embiid got a lot of praise for his 70-point game against the San Antonio Spurs.
Those two games overshadowed Karl-Anthony Towns’ 62-point game, though that came in a surprising loss to the Charlotte Hornets.
Meanwhile, Booker has been on a heater himself as he scored 52 points last week against the New Orleans Pelicans and dropped 62 points in a loss to the Indiana Pacers.
Booker has been one of the best pure scorers in the league and has had huge scoring performances previously.
After his recent 62-point game, he now holds the scoring record at four different arenas via StatMuse.
“Devin Booker holds the arena scoring records at: TD Garden (70) Gainbridge Fieldhouse (62) Delta Center (59) Footprint Center (58),” StatMuse tweeted.

It’s quite an accomplishment for Booker who seems to thrive on the road.
Even though the Suns have stars in Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal who can get their own, Booker remains the most potent scorer of the trio because of his knack to hit shots from all over the floor.
With a silky jump shot with nearly unlimited range, and a crafty handle that he can use to get in the lane, Booker is one of the best three-level scorers in the NBA.
A healthy Booker gives Phoenix a chance to win the NBA championship and it’ll be interesting to see if he can keep this scoring pace up.
