The Milwaukee Bucks made a bit of a bold move.

Despite having the second-best record in the Eastern Conference, they weren’t so sold on Adrian Griffin, so they let him go mid-season.

Rivers said that he was committed to taking one year off and just staying in the broadcast booth.

However, the opportunity to coach such a talented team was just so attractive, and he did go to school there, so it made sense for him.

The Bucks have struggled under Rivers’ tutelage, and some people have serious doubts about his fit for this team.

Then again, he does have a strong pedigree in this league, and perhaps the players will start responding to him better than they did earlier in the campaign.
