After entering their series with the St. Louis Cardinals at .500, the Los Angeles Dodgers picked themselves up off the mat and delivered a three-game sweep at home.
They had just lost two out of three to the surprisingly hot Pittsburgh Pirates.
However, they took advantage of a slumping Cardinals team over the weekend.
On Sunday, they chased St. Louis starter Jake Woodford out of the game in the bottom of the fourth inning.
Noah Syndergaard delivered a solid start and the bullpen kept the Cardinals at bay.
On Twitter, the Dodgers posted a photo of reliever Alex Vesia celebrating a strikeout of Lars Nootbaar with a caption that read, “Home sweep home.”

The Dodgers had everything working over the weekend.
They got solid work from their bullpen and clutch hits in the series opener, a strong outing by Clayton Kershaw in the second game, and some key hits in the series finale.
The Dodgers have also yet to lose a series to the Cardinals since April of 2019.
With the win, Los Angeles moved into a first-place tie with the Arizona Diamondbacks in the NL West with a 16-13 record.
The Dodgers won the NL West last season by a healthy margin, finishing 22 games ahead of the San Diego Padres by winning 111 games, which was a franchise record.
The team matched up with the Padres in the NLDS and fell short.
This season, they have played their best baseball so far, but a sweep of the Cardinals could help them get back on track.
