In the past two seasons under head coach Mike McDaniel, the Miami Dolphins have had one of the most prolific offenses in the NFL, with the team stacked with talent, mainly due to the presence of superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
During this offseason, the Dolphins tried to get even better on the offensive side of the football, bringing in free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who played with NFL MVP Lamar Jackson last year with the Baltimore Ravens.
Although Beckham isn’t the dominant force he once was catching passes from Eli Manning with the New York Giants, the veteran is still a name that turns heads on the football field as he can occasionally show flashes of his old form.
However, Beckham’s career has taken a turn for the worse even since he tore his ACL in the Super Bowl while with the Los Angeles Rams, as he hasn’t been able to stay healthy, making it hard to get on the field.
It appears that trend is continuing with the Dolphins as the 31-year-old has been placed on the PUP list ahead of Week 1, according to Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, meaning he’ll miss the first four games of the 2024 season, via the NFL on X.

This isn’t a great start to his stint with the Dolphins as they hoped to unleash one of the most intimidating receiving corps in the NFL headlined by Hill, Beckham and Jaylen Waddle.
Only time will tell if Beckham can make an impact in Miami, as it will have to wait until Week 5 before he makes his Dolphins debut.
