Coming into Week 15 against the division-rival New York Jets, the Miami Dolphins were thought to have a bit of a challenge on their hands, with superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill ruled out with an ankle injury and New York trying to keep their playoff hopes alive with the return of superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers looming.
Even though some expected a hard-fought battle between these two AFC East rivals, Miami came to play in a big way on their home field of Hard Rock Stadium, as the Dolphins crushed the Jets, 30-0.
The Dolphins came into this game against the Jets with a bit of added motivation after falling to the Tennessee Titans last week in Miami.
After making easy work of the division-rival Jets on Sunday, star linebacker Bradley Chubb talked about coming into this game with a serious focus due to taking the loss against the Titans personally via Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network.
“We took it personal from last week.”

The Dolphins are trying to do everything within their power to win the AFC East division title and secure their spot in the upcoming NFL playoffs.
With a win against the Jets on Sunday, the Dolphins have improved to 10-4 on the season, with it being seemingly inevitable that Tua Tagovailoa and company will win the division title and fight for seeding in the final weeks of the regular season.
Even though the Dolphins will inevitably be playoff-bound at some point in the coming weeks, Miami has one of the most challenging stretches of any team in the league to finish the regular season.
Next week, the Dolphins will take on the Dallas Cowboys on Christmas Eve, followed by a matchup with the Baltimore Ravens on New Year’s Eve and a regular-season finale against the Buffalo Bills.
