The Miami Dolphins finished the 2022 season with a 9-8 record, sneaking into the playoffs after being plagued with injuries.
One of their star players, Terron Armstead, suffered a pec strain in the late stages of last year.
He also fell to a leg injury in the early stages of training camp, putting his status for 2023 in jeopardy.
However, in a recent segment of Good Morning Football, shared via Will Selva, Armstead said, “It’s definitely the goal to be out there Week 1.”

Armstead’s presence on the Dolphins’ line is crucial.
They held a 1-3 record without him in 2022, indicating how valuable he is to the organization.
While there are a lot of question marks left on the Dolphins’ roster, having Armstead back could alleviate a lot of the team’s woes.
The Dolphins were the 11th-highest-scoring offense in the league last season, scoring an average of 23.4 points per game.
With Tua Tagovailoa back and fully healthy, the Dolphins could find themselves as one of the AFC’s top teams.
However, they’ll have an uphill climb to make a significant playoff push given the current strength of the conference.
The Dolphins have a difficult schedule to begin the season, facing off against the Los Angeles Chargers and New England Patriots in their first two games.
If they can come out of their first two games with victories, it’ll likely propel them on an upward trajectory for the rest of the year.
Can the Dolphins’ top players, including Armstead and Tagovailoa stay healthy enough to see the season play out?
