The Miami Dolphins walk into the 2024 NFL season with plenty to prove after losing in the Wild Card Round to the eventual Super Bowl champions the Kansas City Chiefs.

Head coach Mike McDaniel built arguably the league’s most exciting and explosive offense, though it wasn’t enough once the postseason rolled around.

Tyreek Hill garnered most of the attention because of his exploits on the field, but McDaniel was able to scheme him so open thanks to his effective run game.

Raheem Mostert had a career year as the team’s lead back as he was the preferred goal-line option and early down runner.

However, De’Von Achane was the perfect complement for him as he was electric whenever he got the football in his hands and broke off numerous chunk plays.

Ahead of his sophomore year, Achane sent out what could be considered a warning to the league via his personal Instagram account.

“They better be worried about who I’m becoming, not who I was,” Achane said.

Achane should play a bigger part in the offense in 2024 as he dealt with a few injuries during his rookie year that robbed him of opportunities.

His smaller stature and injury history put Achane at risk of getting hurt again, but he can be just as effective in a smaller role with limited touches.

If Achane can reach his potential and build on his rookie season, then Miami should be a force to be reckoned though they’ll still have to prove that their offense can survive in a playoff setting.
