Aaron Rodgers is officially a member of the New York Jets, putting the offseason’s biggest storyline to rest.

Now, Rodgers can begin to plan and train with his new teammates, as they look to make a splash in the AFC East.

After this trade was made official, Bradley Chubb, a member of the Miami Dolphins, commented on what it will be like to face Rodgers within the division.

“It’s an opportunity to play against one of the best quarterbacks that ever played the game,” said Chubb, via NFL.com

Rodgers will now join the AFC East, in what is likely the most difficult division that he has ever played in.

Besides Rodgers, the quarterbacks within his division are Tua Tagovailoa, Mac Jones, and Josh Allen.

The Buffalo Bills and the Dolphins both made the playoffs last season but ultimately fell short of the Super Bowl.

As both of those rosters continue to grow and develop, they face a new challenge with Rodgers.

In Chubb’s career, he has faced off against Rodgers on two separate occasions, in 2019 and in 2022.

Now that they are in the same division, he’ll face him twice per year for the foreseeable future.

How will Chubb fare against the four-time MVP?

Coming off a season that he amassed eight sacks and three forced fumbles, Chubb will be ready for whatever Rodgers throws at him.

The AFC East is due for a major shakeup, which could see the Jets making their first playoff appearance in 12 years.

Will Chubb and the Dolphins defense let that happen?
