The NBA Draft is rapidly approaching, giving teams just a few more days to make final decisions and evaluations.

While there are still some great prospects in this draft, there is not nearly as much excitement about this year’s draft as there was last year.

One of the major reasons for that is that there isn’t a clear No. 1 pick in this year’s draft.

Without a player like Victor Wembanyama in the class, it does open the door for more players to be discussed throughout the process.

Bronny James is certainly one of the most talked about players in the class, making for a lively conversation.

James, of course, is the son of LeBron James, and if he has even a sliver of his father’s talent, he could be a valuable pickup for any NBA team.

While this could be the case, there is a growing sense around the league that Bronny has a one-track mind heading into the draft.

Jonathon Givony discussed this in a recent segment of NBA Today, as shared by NBA Central on Twitter.

“The sense is that his agent, Rich Paul, does not want him on a two-way contract… The range that he’s going to be picked, you know, that 40 to 58 range, those are where two-way contracts are handed out. It’s looking right now, that Bronny James is going to slide down to 55,” Givony said.

It appears that Bronny’s agent isn’t making it easy for other teams to contact him, leaving league leaders to believe that he’s headed straight to the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Phoenix Suns are reportedly bringing him in for another workout, but other than that, it’s been all Lakers, all the time.
