The Minnesota Timberwolves have a true superstar in Anthony Edwards.
It didn’t take long before he proved why they were so high on him coming out of college.
And all those questions someone could’ve had about his feel for the game, maturity, or work ethic, shouldn’t even exist anymore.
The fans see it, and the players definitely see it as well.
That’s why Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green believes he’s ready to ‘take the keys.’
Talking on the latest edition of his podcast, the former Defensive Player of the Year stated that he’s liked the way LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant have embraced him as the young leader of the team (via ClutchPoints).
“The way Bron, Steph and KD are embracing him… and kind of giving him the keys to the team.”

Green argued that Edwards was half-joking when he claimed that everybody else would have to play through him in Team USA, and the veterans have made sure that that’s actually the case.
He’s been arguably the best player on the team early on, and even though he’s been quite vocal about how the veterans are still the leaders, it’s still more than clear that the old guard has given him his blessing to be the next face of the league.
Edwards still needs to work on his conditioning, but he’s only going to keep getting better and better with more experience.
He made the most of last summer working with Team USA ahead of the FIBA World Cup, and getting a full summer to work out with three of the greatest players of all time will only make him even better.
