Draymond Green, Charles Barkley To Work Together For Special Event

Two of the biggest personalities in the NBA world are coming together for the upcoming All-Star Game.

According to The Athletic, via Legion Hoops, TNT is preparing an alternate telecast for this weekend’s big game.

The two hosts of the telecast will be Charles Barkley and Draymond Green.

Taylor Rooks and Jamal Crawford will also be involved in the broadcast, which will air on TruTV while the main telecast will be on both TNT and TBS.

The NBA and TNT are attempting to make the All-Star Game bigger than ever this year.

Not only have new events been added to the weekend, but they are trying to reach more viewers with this alternative broadcast.

Barkley co-hosting is not a surprise at all, as he has long been a part of the NBA on TNT family.

Green also has a close working relationship with TNT but it is a bit shocking to see him land this hosting gig so soon after he faced a lengthy suspension from the league.

For the last few years, it looked as if Green was setting up a post-NBA career as a broadcaster but that was all thrown into disarray recently when he was forced out of the league for his latest on-court altercation.

At the time, there were serious concerns and a lot of speculation about how that jeopardized his future in the NBA and on television.

TNT and the league both agree that Green did the work required and is worthy of another chance because he is back with his team and will now be a host for the first time since his suspension.
