The Golden State Warriors made a shocking move earlier this week when they parted with Jordan Poole, sending the young guard to the Washington Wizards for Chris Paul.

Poole was a key piece in the team’s championship run last year, but after his tumultuous 2022-23 NBA season, new general manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. shipped him to D.C.

Paul is a proven veteran still trying to win a championship, and the Warriors offer him a solid chance to win the title next year.

During his career, Paul has rubbed some players the wrong way in the league, and Draymond Green was one of them.

Back in 2020, the four-time NBA champion revealed he didn’t have a good relationship with Paul.

Three years ago, Green revealed his true feelings about Paul,’ admitting he respected him for his ‘hustle and IQ,’ but clarifying they didn’t have a ‘good relationship at all.’

Paul is now 38, but he can still be helpful for a team like the Warriors.

However, they will need to mend their relationship for everything to work in the long run.

Green is a free agent right now, but there is a strong belief that he will re-sign with the Warriors.

Ironically, the Warriors traded a player who Green punched in the face for another who isn’t on the best terms with the power forward.
