Draymond Green is one of the best defensive players in the NBA, and he’s also one of the pettiest.

He never wastes an opportunity to poke fun or call out some of the many enemies he’s made on the court throughout the course of his career.

That includes Rudy Gobert, who’s been a regular and favorite victim of his.

This time, the Golden State Warriors star used a picture of Jaden McDaniels and how the look on his face may have revealed that he knew Luka Doncic was going to score on Gobert in that final shot of Friday’s game (via Warriors on NBC Sports).

Truth be told, McDaniels’ expression is quite telling, but that shouldn’t be a knock on Gobert.

If anything, there was no reason why the Timberwolves should’ve had Gobert there to begin with, as all guards would have an edge over any big men.

Green has called Gobert soft multiple times, and he also called him out for missing one playoff game to be present when his son was born.

He also took uncalled-for shots at him after the loss, as if it was on him.

At the end of the day, there’s not much anybody — Green included — could’ve done against a guy like Luka.

And while Gobert might be overrated as a defender and perhaps Green could’ve and should’ve won one of his Defensive Player of the Year awards, this just isn’t a good look for someone trying to make his way as an analyst.
