The Golden State Warriors are known for their championship-winning prowess, especially during the Steph Curry era.

This team has been one of the best in the league for over a decade, as they have found elite production from their stars and great value from their depth pieces.

Draymond Green used to be one of the stars of this team, but his role has changed in recent seasons.

Not only has Green’s statistical production slowed, but his on-court antics have gotten him in trouble a lot, especially last year.

He also had an off-court incident with Jordan Poole, which was recorded in a team facility.

In the video, Poole and Green had an altercation that ended with Green hitting Poole in the head.

This led to some awkwardness with the locker room, which Green recently opened up about and discussed.

As he recanted on his show, “I was so embarrassed to be around our team last year with [Jordan Poole] still on the [Warriors]… I was probably late last season 20 times,” Green said.

To Green, his outburst caused a ripple effect across the locker room.

After this happened, there was a lot of tension between him and Poole, and as he put it, this was an embarrassing situation for him.

A long-time veteran striking a younger player wasn’t seen as a great move at the time, and he can now admit his faults from the situation.

It will be interesting to see what Green’s role looks like with this team next year, especially given his on and off-court struggles.
