After a rollercoaster ride of a 2023-24 NBA season, the Golden State Warriors have finally found their groove.
Golden State has won eight out of their last 10 games and resembles the team that most thought they would be heading into the season.
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr’s new starting lineup includes Jonathan Kuminga and Brandin Podziemski, two youthful players who have added an extra dimension of shooting and athleticism next to Stephen Curry.
Despite his antics, Green remains a pivotal part of Golden State’s on-court identity and they need him at his best to compete with the rest of the league.
Green has won four NBA championships up to this point but named the 2022 title as the hardest one to win via, “Club 520 Podcast.”
“That was the toughest one. We weren’t favored. Everybody was calling us too small… And we went and made it happen… Then also, I told [Kevin Durant], ‘I’m going to win one when you leave here.’… I did that,” Green said.

The Warriors’ previous championships with Kevin Durant were heavily scrutinized because of their collective star power, but the 2022 NBA Championship was definitely a legitimate one any way one looks at it.
Golden State had to play the Boston Celtics, who were favored, and Green and the rest of the group found a way to win in six games.
It’s hard to imagine the Warriors winning another title this year, but they’re going to be a team that none of the higher seeds will want to face.
