Steve Kerr has become a pivotal aspect of the lives of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.
It’s no surprise that the trio wants to finish their career while being coached by Kerr.
Green reiterated this point in the interview as he can leave the team following the conclusion of the 2025-26 NBA season as well.
After all, Green may opt out of his $27.6 million player option for the 2026-27 season if Kerr doesn’t return to the team.
Another key aspect of Kerr’s deal is undoubtedly Stephen Curry’s contract with the team.
After the 2023-24 season, Curry will have two years left on his deal and become an unrestricted free agent when he turns 38 years old.
