Draymond Green is on the verge of returning to the Golden State Warriors and he’s finally opening up about his suspension and the growth he’s experienced.
Green has had plenty of time to think about his actions and how to avoid any future incidents like the ones that got him suspended.
But he has also had time to think about what others have said when he was recently benched by the league.
Speaking on his show, Green said he was hurt when former teammate Kevin Durant spoke about him.
“It really pissed me off when Kevin Durant said, ‘He wasn’t like that when I was around. I hope he gets the help he needs,’” Green said, via Legion Hoops on Twitter.

Green was just one of many who were intrigued by Durant’s comment.
Durant played for three seasons with the Warriors, of course, and spent a lot of time with Green.
Durant and Green won two championships together and worked really well as a unit, alongside Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and others.
During that time, Green definitely played with a quick temper and was prone to on-court outbursts.
But some have argued that he has only gotten worse over the years.
He has certainly experienced a lot of problems this season alone, being suspended twice and only playing a total of 15 games.
Durant isn’t the only person who thinks that Green’s behavior has grown more destructive as he has grown older.
It ultimately doesn’t matter if that’s true or not because Green has to battle the public perception of himself.
He will have to work hard to convince Durant, and many others, that he has put an end to this troubled chapter of his career and is a new man.
