The Golden State Warriors weren’t on the same page last season, and it backfired when it mattered the most.

That’s why they’ve made it a point of emphasis this offseason to be on the same page and push towards the same goal together.

At least, that’s what Draymond Green believes it will take to get over the hump this season.

In a sitdown with Zena Keita, the former Defensive Player of the Year affirmed that they feel like they have the pieces they need to win a championship (via Warriors on NBC Sports).

Draymond believes the sky is the limit for the Warriors if everyone buys in this season

But more than that, he’s also glad about the fact that everybody has bought in, which is something that didn’t happen last season.

Green seemed to take a shot at Jordan Poole by stating that seeing that not everyone was sold on what they needed to do was “a little jarring,” so he’s glad that everything’s back to normal this time.

Needless to say, he should also be to blame for that, at least to some degree.

He was the one who punched Poole in the offseason, regardless of what was said.

At the end of the day, Poole is no longer with the organization, and Green can go back to being the vocal presence and leader he’s been for most of his career.

The Warriors made some interesting additions in the offseason, obviously headlined by the Chris Paul trade.

And while some aren’t sure about them being better than they were last season, we know better than to put our money against Steve Kerr’s team by now.
