The Golden State Warriors are off to a great and promising start to the season.

They’ve won four in a row, and more than that, they look like a team that’s happy and having fun on the court, just like they were most of the time in the Steve Kerr era.

On that note, Draymond Green admitted that last year’s chemistry wasn’t good at all, using expletives and acknowledging it was hard to come to work (via Warriors on NBC Sports).

Last year was horses–t. It was hard to come to work.”

Green stated that last year’s chemistry issues were an anomaly because their chemistry is something they have always taken pride in, adding that otherwise, there wouldn’t be so many guys that spend so many years in the organization.

Needless to say, that might have been a little shot at Jordan Poole, as he and Donte DiVincenzo are the only two rotation players from last season who aren’t on the team anymore.

Poole’s incident with Green was more than talked about, and Draymond admitted that it took a toll on his ability to speak up and be the kind of leader he usually was because he knew his credibility had been hurt by that punch.

Putting all the blame on Poole isn’t fair, and everybody played a role in whatever issues they had in the locker room.

But the important part is that it’s all water under the bridge now and they’re finally back to being the team they had been more often than not, and that’s a scary thought for the rest of the league.
