Drew Timme, a 6-foot-10 center who played four seasons of college ball at Gonzaga University, was one of the more intriguing big-man prospects in the 2023 NBA Draft.
But for some reason, he went undrafted, despite putting up 21.2 points a game on 61.6 percent shooting this past season for the Bulldogs.
However, Timme will get an opportunity to prove he belongs in the NBA, as the Milwaukee Bucks decided to give him an Exhibit 10 deal as an undrafted free agent, per Shams Charania.

An Exhibit 10 contract allows an NBA team to evaluate a prospect and possibly transfer him onto a two-way deal while committing only the league’s minimum salary to him.
Timme grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and first attracted the attention of scouts in high school.
He came off the bench for Gonzaga as a freshman, but he burst into their starting lineup the following year and excelled from that point on.
He is a capable scorer with his back to the basket, and he also has a potent mid-range offensive game.
The knocks against Timme are that he is fairly unathletic, and he isn’t a good defender; in addition, he doesn’t have much of a 3-point shot to speak of.
For the Bucks, Brook Lopez, their starting center and a key member of their roster over the last five years, is about to become a free agent, and there is a chance he will leave.
If Timme pans out, perhaps he could help fill the void that would be created if Lopez decides to sign with a different team.
