LeBron James has been the face of the NBA, to some degree at least, since 2003.

He’s about to enter his 22nd season playing at the highest level, and this level of durability is pretty much unmatched in basketball.

It’s not that other guys haven’t played for as long as him; it’s that no one has been able to put up these kinds of numbers at this age.

That’s why even some of his colleagues and friends are in awe of what he’s doing right now.

Notably, that includes his former teammate, Dwyane Wade.

In a recent interview, Wade admitted that watching James play at this level sometimes makes him wonder what he did wrong in life (via Heat Nation & Legion Hoops).

Dwyane Wade:

“Anytime I still see LeBron playing this level of basketball, I’m trying to see what I did wrong in life.”

They both entered the league in the same legendary class of 2003.

They teamed up and won two NBA championships and made it to the NBA Finals four times.

However, Wade has been away from the game for years now, all while James signed a contract extension just several weeks ago.

James’ unmatched work ethic and discipline to take elite care of his body has given his god-given traits and impressive athleticism a helping hand, and he’s giving Father Time a run for his money.
