During his 16 years in the NBA, Dwyane Wade did so many great things, including winning three championships, claiming Finals MVP, and All-Star MVP, and also earning a spot in the NBA 75th Anniversary Team and the Hall of Fame.
There is no question that Wade was a sensational player.
He recognizes this and admits that he once compared himself to the best of the best.
Speaking to “7PM in Brooklyn,” per NBACentral, Wade said that he was trying to be as great as Michael Jordan.
“Before injuries, I’m like, ‘MJ, I’m coming for you,’” Wade said, saying that his game was unstoppable and he was able to do so many different things on the floor.

Wade said that he was capable of so much, making him unpredictable on the court and frustrating for opponents.
He didn’t just score very well (he had a career average of 22 points), but he was also great with rebounds and assists too.
Wade was the glue that held his team together and that’s why he felt he was in the same field as Jordan.
Fans will forever debate where Wade ranks in NBA history but there is a strong consensus that he is one of the best guards of all time.
The 13-time All-Star did amazing things for his Miami Heat and will forever be considered a legend by fans of that team.
Over time, injuries and age caught up with Wade but he was still playing great basketball even in his final years.
He may not have surpassed Jordan but Wade is still one of the best to ever play in the league.
