Dwyane Wade Makes Bold Claim About His NBA Career

Over the weekend, the Basketball Hall of Fame added a few more members to their elite club, with NBA stars Pau Gasol, Dirk Nowitzki, Tony Parker, and Dwyane Wade getting inducted.

Although each of these inductees did the media rounds over the last few weeks as they prepared to be inducted, none of those was seen or heard from more than the Miami Heat legend, who was more than willing to talk about his legendary career in the NBA.

Along with a touching speech about fellow Hall of Famer Allen Iverson and how the controversial guard impacted his basketball career, Wade also talked about his legacy and where he believes he stands amongst other basketball legends.

Wade openly admits he’s not in the GOAT conversation and he wasn’t able to accomplish what Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, or LeBron James have done, but said his career is one of the “GOAT careers,” and something movies are made from, as shared on Twitter by Hoops Hype via NBACentral.

With three NBA titles and all the success he had with Team USA as a vital member of the Redeem Team led by head coach Mike Krzyzewski, Wade does have an intriguing story that will go down as one of the greatest in the history of the league.

Outside of winning an NBA MVP award, Wade accomplished pretty much everything that can be done in an NBA career and should be praised for those accomplishments as it is no easy feat, especially when walking in the footsteps of Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and Allen Iverson at the guard position.
