Dwyane Wade is still a Miami Heat legend but many people forget he didn’t only play for that team.
He spent some time with both the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers toward the end of his career.
Speaking to “7PM in Brooklyn”, Wade commented on his stint with the Cavaliers.
He admitted it wasn’t a highlight of his NBA tenure and ragged on his Cleveland jersey, calling it “nasty.”
Wade said he’d like people to forget about his brief stay in Cleveland and many likely do.
“That is NASTY work.”

After years in Miami, Wade was ready for a change in 2016.
This led to him moving up to his hometown of Chicago for a season with the Bulls.
After that singular season in the Windy City, Wade headed to Cleveland to play with LeBron James and the Cavaliers.
That move generated a lot of attention at the time, mostly because it paired him with James again.
However, this run with James wasn’t nearly as successful as their time together in Miami.
Wade averaged 11.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists during his 46 games with the Cavaliers.
He wasn’t nearly as impactful as he had been with the Heat and many people saw him as simply a sidekick for James.
Instead of remaining in Cleveland, Wade went back to Miami and spent the final two seasons of his career playing for the Heat.
He’d eventually retire there and is rightfully seen as a hero to the franchise.
Wade admits that going to Cleveland wasn’t a smart move and holds a grudge against the jersey he was forced to wear.
Despite that, he remains friends with James and has a career he should be very proud of.
