When it comes to training camp in the NFL, teams all around the league make many tweaks to the roster.
Some new players are added so that the team can see what they have, and other players can be waived or put on an injury list.
The Philadelphia Eagles made a couple of moves recently as their training camp is now underway.
They announced on social media that they have signed wide receiver Griffin Hebert and waived offensive tackle Gottlieb Ayedze from the Non-Football Injury List.

These moves are minor because it is training camp and these particular players are both somewhat unproven.
Starting with Hebert, the former Louisiana Tech star spent the 2023 season on the practice squads of the Seattle Seahawks and the Eagles after going undrafted.
As it stands right now, Hebert, who previously led Louisiana Tech in touchdown catches as a sophomore, will have an opportunity to compete for a roster spot if he can hold his training camp spot for the next few weeks.
On a roster with the likes of A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Parris Campbell, and others, that might be an uphill battle.
When it comes to offensive tackle Gottlieb Ayedze, the former Division II star at Frostburg State was waived in order to make rook for Hebert.
Are these two roster moves going to bring the Eagles closer to another Super Bowl?
Probably not, but they are proof that Philly does not want to stay stagnant and is always looking to make additions and edits to the roster.
