The Philadelphia Eagles will be looking to bounce back in the 2024 NFL season after a disappointing finish to the 2024 NFL Playoffs that resulted in a loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Eagles went into the 2023 NFL campaign as one of the few Super Bowl favorites, though they seemed to crash and burn in the second half of the year after brutal losses to the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys.

Despite the setback, Philadelphia is set up well to compete again after revamping the coaching staff and improving some areas of the roster.

The offense didn’t look quite right last year, though the Eagles are hoping that new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore can help right the ship.

A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith should be the focal point of the passing game, though the team does have other options who can make an impact

For example, rookie receiver Johnny Wilson has been getting first-team reps with the offense during training camp and seems to be an emerging piece via Eliot Shorr-Parks of 94WIP.com.

“Rookie WR Johnny Wilson is already getting 1st team reps on offense and he says his work with Jalen Hurts this past offseason is really paying off,” Shorr-Parks reported.

Philadelphia selected Wilson with the No.185 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and it was a worthy gamble given his size at the position.

While he might not be a smooth route or polished route runner this early on in his career, Wilson makes for an intriguing red zone option who can simply leap over defenders.
