The NFL remains the most popular professional sport in America by a long margin, even though the NBA has made considerable strides over the last couple of decades.
That said, this league makes a ton of money during the regular season and throughout the NFL playoffs, with fans always making a point of it to watch games on Sunday, Monday, and Thursday during the week.
Even though a lot of fans tune in for games on Sundays, Monday night is considered to be the cream of the crop or the matchup that everyone watches, with the league making an effort to put the best matchups on Monday Night Football.
Despite the fact that fans love games on Monday night, the players might not feel the same way, especially when it comes to star wide receiver A.J. Brown of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Apparently, Brown isn’t a fan of playing games on Monday Night Football because he thinks it is not easy to recover and bounce back after playing games on that day during the regular season, via Dov Kleiman.

“Right after the game, you only have a certain amount of time for your body to recover.. I think they should take MNF out. I know it’s cool.. but to turn around after is very… pic.twitter.com/PF1sxU4QrB

Brown may not favor playing games on Monday Night Football, but there’s no way the league will ever change that setup, even though the NFL has expanded to playing games on Thursday nights in recent years.
Monday Night Football is far too popular, and even if quite a few star players in the league made a case for the league to change things, it’s highly unlikely anything would happen, with too much money to be lost by the NFL.
