This year’s Super Bowl between Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles was one of the most entertaining in recent memory.

It provided several highlight-reel plays, and the back-and-forth nature of the game was one for the record books.

While the Chiefs came away with the victory, several Eagles players and fans were unhappy, mainly with a few referee calls.

Several months after the event, some players have still not gotten over their defeat.

In a recent video with viral-sensation Deestroying,  when discussing defensive holding, A.J. Brown said it happens “all the time, but refs don’t call it.”

WR AJ Brown was asked by @Deestroying if NFL referees call defensive holding in the NFL.

AJ Brown answered: “All the time, but refs don’t call it. They never call it.”

But Brown mentions a time it was called “during the Super Bowl, on that one play.”

The play in question was a JuJu Smith-Schuster route.

The referees called holding on the play, as James Bradberry was penalized.

This led to a Chiefs field goal and, ultimately, the Super Bowl victory.

Brown still believes this was a bogus call, and Bradberry shouldn’t have been flagged for it.

Brown and the Eagles need to continue focusing on the 2023 season to get revenge in a game they feel was stolen.

The good news for the Eagles is that they have a lot of returning starters in the organization, so they’ll be able to build on last year’s chemistry.

Plus, Jalen Hurts is now officially tied down as the team’s franchise star, so he is also armed with extra motivation to succeed.
