The Philadelphia 76ers are going to be one of the most active and aggressive teams in the NBA offseason.
We’re going to hear their name a lot in the coming months, as Daryl Morey has reportedly set his sights on multiple top-notch targets to pair with Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey.
That’s why they could be looking to play chess and not checkers in the NBA Draft as well.
According to a report by Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints, the Sixers are now also in play to get Bronny James (via Legion Hoops).

The Sixers will be on the clock with the No. 16 pick in the NBA Draft, one above the Los Angeles Lakers.
And this being an unimpressive and thin class, they could use that mid-first-round pick to get LeBron James’ firstborn and prevent him from getting to Southern California.
Over the past week, there have been multiple reports about the Sixers being interested in signing LeBron if he decides to become a free agent, and this move would obviously make it all the more appealing for the soon-to-be 40-year-old.
Most reports state that James is going to stay put in Sunny California and retire with the Purple and Gold, but with the Sixers looking to add a third star and him being near the top of that list, adding Bronny would make it enticing.
James knows firsthand how much easier it is to make it to the NBA Finals in the Eastern Conference, and adding another ring to his résumé would only add even more to his already impressive legacy, especially if he wins with yet another franchise.
