When players retire from the NFL, it can be difficult for them to acclimate to the “real world.”
Some find themselves amid an identity crisis, especially if they were in the league for a long time.
This often leads players down a coaching route, while others find business ventures or make their way into broadcasting.
When Peyton Manning retired, he quickly dove head-first into several adventures, including television appearances.
It has recently been announced that Manning is returning to the University of Tennessee in the fall, where he be a professor of practice for communication and information.
After this was announced, his brother Eli was quick to poke fun at him, saying “Easy A!”

Manning graduated from Tennessee in 1997 with a degree in communication.
He’ll be able to impart wisdom to students from his time in the NFL, along with his new opportunities since he’s retired.
Manning also has a company called “Omaha Productions.”
This has been host to a myriad of different programs thus far, including the Netflix documentary, ‘Quarterback.’
Quarterback was an extremely successful program, and has already been renewed for a second installment.
Manning will need to balance his new role with his production company as he continues to be busy throughout NFL retirement.
He and Eli are also slated to do the ‘Manning Cast’ again for the 2023 season.
This segment on ESPN shows the brothers talking to various guests, providing a unique spin on traditional commentary.
Will the success of this program carry over into a new season, giving fans a larger dose of the Mannings?
