The New York Giants are only a couple of years removed from making the 2024 NFL Playoffs, but might find it tough to get back there this upcoming season as the rest of the NFC has gotten much better.
The Giants were riddled with injuries in the 2023 NFL season, most notably Daniel Jones who was forced to miss the second half of the year after suffering a torn ACL.
While Jones is expected to be ready near the start of the year, the rest of the New York offense could find it difficult to score as they lost Saquon Barkley in free agency to their NFC East rivals the Philadelphia Eagles.
Giants fans are surely hoping for a bounce-back year as the team is desperate to get back to the postseason.
The peak years of the franchise came over a decade ago when Eli Manning was the one operating under center and leading New York to multiple Super Bowl championships.
On Sunday, Manning threw out the first pitch at a Yankee game and the fans had plenty of reactions to it.

In the video, Manning lets loose on the pitch and it goes fairly high above the plate though at least he was able to get it to the plate.
He later jokes that MLB players today are always looking to hit home runs and have trouble with the high pitches like the one he threw.
Manning is beloved in the state of New York for bringing them championships and it was fun to see him make an appearance for the Yankees game.
