The Miami Dolphins had no choice but to bring a familiar face back.
With Shaq Barrett shockingly announcing his retirement shortly after signing a one-year contract with them, they had to go into scramble mode to revamp their pass-rushing unit.
That’s why they turned back to Emmanuel Ogbah, who they had released earlier in the offseason.
Needless to say, the former star is appreciative of this new opportunity, and he’s looking forward to making the most of it.
As shown by FinsXtra on Twitter, he let the fans know that he was ready to run it back.

There was a time in which Ogbah was one of the best defensive players on the team.
They signed him to a very lucrative four-year contract, but injuries and inconsistency prevented him from being at his best.
He was unable to find a new deal after the Dolphins cut ties with him, and some fans still have doubts about him because of that.
Even so, he proved what he was capable of when he posted back-to-back seasons with nine sacks.
He later combined for just 6.6 sacks in his final two campaigns, but if he’s back to full strength, he could end up being a factor.
The Dolphins will also have a new guy calling the shots on defense.
Anthony Weaver took the reins from Vic Fangio, and he might be able to help him get back to his former level.
Hopefully, that’ll be the case, as it’s been more than a long time since the Dolphins’ last playoff win.
