Everyone Has An Opinion On Who The Panthers Should Take At No. 1

The Carolina Panthers have made several notable changes lately, but the biggest one concerns the 2023 NFL Draft.

Last month, they made a big trade with the Chicago Bears, sending out multiple draft picks and productive wide receiver D.J. Moore for the No. 1 selection this year.

Carolina will obviously use that No. 1 selection on a quarterback, and the million-dollar question is who will be that selection.

Will it be Bryce Young, the excellent signal-caller from Alabama, who won the Heisman Trophy in 2021 and led the Crimson Tide to a win in the Sugar Bowl last season?

Will it be C.J. Stroud, who had a record-breaking performance in the 2022 Rose Bowl while leading Ohio State to a win there over the University of Utah?

Our could the Panthers even opt for Anthony Richardson, who has recently emerged as a dark-horse candidate to go No. 1 in the draft?

The pundits seem divided on who the best choice would be for them.

Who are the @Panthers taking first overall?

Although many have tabbed Young as the best QB prospect in this year’s draft, some are concerned about the fact that he has been measured at just 5-foot-10 and less than 200 pounds.

Stroud, on the other hand, is listed at 6-foot-3 and 214 pounds, and he has been a slightly more accurate passer than Young over the last couple of seasons.

Meanwhile, Richardson may not have the prolific stats of a Young or Stroud, but he reportedly impressed several NFL teams during the one-on-one interview process at last month’s combine.
