After losing Game 2 against the Memphis Grizzlies on the road, the Los Angeles Lakers headed back to Crypto.com Arena with a lot of motivation to take the lead in this first-round playoff series.
One of the primary motivating factors for the Lakers after Game 2 was the comments made by Dillon Brooks about superstar forward LeBron James.
Brooks has never been one to hold back when the media ask him a question about another player or team, and this time he might regret what he said as it fueled the Lakers to a convincing win in Game 3 in Los Angeles.
Along with James getting a bit of revenge against Brooks for his comments, ESPN’s Doris Burke didn’t hold back in her brutal assessment of Brooks and what he does and doesn’t bring to the Grizzlies.

Here are some fan reactions to what Burke had to say about Brooks during Game 3 between the Grizzlies and Lakers:
he’d beat doris 1v1

That is a little harsh from Burke, who didn’t seem to be making these comments about Brooks from an impartial viewpoint, which is what the media is supposed to do, especially when being on a live broadcast.
Brooks was public enemy No. 1 at Crypto.com Arena on Saturday night in Los Angeles, and that’ll likely carry over to Monday’s Game 4, where Lakers fans will be out in full force once again and determined to get the Grizzlies forward off his game.
The Lakers can take a commanding 3-1 series lead over the Grizzlies on Monday if they can figure out a way to contain Morant and repeat Saturday’s performance on both ends of the floor.
