The Baltimore Ravens will be debuting a new helmet design this season.
According to ESPN insider Adam Schefter, Baltimore will wear new Purple Rising helmets when it hosts the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday, Nov. 7.
While the Ravens’ jerseys appear to be similar to ones they’ve worn in years past, the helmet has a much different logo on it, along with a different shade of purple and a gold facemask.

The Ravens are a relatively new team, by NFL standards.
After the original Cleveland Browns moved to Baltimore, the Ravens started playing games in 1996, and much like the Carolina Panthers and Houston Texans, they are still a youthful franchise as they haven’t been around for even three decades.
But in that time, the team has become known for its toughness and physicality, and these helmets take on that kind of identity.
Not only are these helmets drawing rave reviews, but they will also get to debut in an AFC North matchup with the rival Bengals.
As things stand, Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow will face off again in another hotly contested prime-time game.
The Ravens finally were able to host an AFC Championship Game for the first time last season, and the Bengals have made it to that round in two out of the past three years.
In a loaded division, the Week 10 matchup could go a long way toward deciding the winner.
