It’s been a while since the Denver Broncos last went the distance in the playoffs.
They’ve struggled to find a new quarterback since Peyton Manning walked away from the game, and it seems like Russell Wilson wasn’t the answer for them.
Wilson’s performances in his two seasons in Denver have left a lot to be desired.
More than that, HC Sean Payton hasn’t been too complimentary when talking about him, and the fact that they benched him later in the season makes people think they’re just ready to part ways with him.
Nonetheless, that doesn’t mean that Wilson is ready to call it quits.
Talking to former NFL WR Brandon Marshall for his I AM ATHLETE podcast, the former Seattle Seahawk claimed that he wants to win two Super Bowls in the next five years (Via Barstool Sports).

Needless to say, it didn’t take long before people took his comments the wrong way, and the fans flooded the internet with their thoughts.
And I want to be a billionaire. Odds aren’t good for either of us.

Why not 5?

I’d like to morph into a dragon from time to time as well. Feel like I’m working with the same odds.

He’s going to have to do so many airplane aisle jumping jacks to make this happen.

By the look on his face, even Marshall didn’t seem to think Wilson was going to be able to win one ring in the next five years, let alone two.
Wilson stated that he still hopes to get the job done in Denver, but he did leave the door open to play somewhere else if they don’t value him there.
Russell Wilson is one of the best quarterbacks of his generation, and he deserves more respect.
Also, he might be healthy enough to play for another five years.
Still, from that to winning another ring or two, at least as a starter, might be a bit of a reach.
