The Atlanta Falcons have a lot of work to do after going 7-10 and missing the playoffs yet again last season.
Their quarterback play was weak, and it resulted in starter Marcus Mariota getting benched late in the year in favor of Desmond Ridder, a rookie who was a third-round draft pick in 2022.
Atlanta’s offensive line is also a concern, and NFL analyst Cam Marino feels the team will turn to this year’s draft to find a quality left guard, and that they may take Peter Skoronski or Paris Johnson Jr.
And now, @JamesPalmerTV confirms that ATL is indeed in the market for a potential left guard. Adds that Atlanta may consider Peter Skoronski or Paris Johnson in the draft. Noteworthy development. https://t.co/m8Z0xcQICo

Skoronski, a native of the Chicago area, played his college ball at Northwestern University and was named first-team All-Big Ten during the 2021 season.
His grandfather was Bob Skoronski, who was an offensive tackle for the dynastic Green Bay Packers of the 1960s, and the elder Skoronski won five championships while playing for them.
Johnson, a member of the Ohio State University Buckeyes, made it to the national championship game in January 2021 and was a consensus All-American last season.
The NFC South may have been the weakest division in all of football in 2022, but it is starting to look significantly stronger.
The New Orleans Saints have added veteran quarterback Derek Carr, a four-time Pro Bowler, and the Carolina Panthers have brought in a few studs on offense while possessing the No. 1 pick in this year’s draft.
Therefore, the Falcons need to make some sizable improvements to their roster if they are to return to the playoffs for the first time since 2017.
