The NFL offseason is rapidly approaching, as the start of training camps for many teams is here.
By this period, teams have begun to reveal some of their plans for the upcoming year, specifically with new uniforms and helmets.
The Cleveland Browns recently unveiled their new white helmets, and the Seattle Seahawks and Tampa Bay Buccaneers launched their throwback uniforms.
Not to be outdone, the Atlanta Falcons are promoting their red helmets, per the team’s official page.

The Falcons wore red helmets last season, paired with their throwback jerseys.
This social media announcement highlights the three games that they’ll wear these helmets in 2023, which will happen on September 17th, October 15th, and November 26th.
All three games will be played at home, and their opponents will be the Green Bay Packers, Washington Commanders, and New Orleans Saints.
The fan reaction to these helmets has been strong as alternate team identities have grown in popularity.

Many analysts have predicted the Falcons to have a bounce-back year in 2023, given their amount of offensive talent.
They have invested significant capital in skill-position players, as their last three first-round draft picks have been used in that capacity.
