Jimmy Butler’s upbringing as an NBA star is worthy of a movie.
He went from being homeless as a teenager to barely being taken in the first round, and he’s now one of the best two-way players on Earth.

Butler is a one-of-a-kind guy.
He doesn’t care about the regular season, but he’ll take his game up a couple of notches as soon as the playoffs begin.
He was a bit of a late bloomer, but once he burst onto the scene, there simply was no stopping him.
Butler is one of the craftiest defenders in the league, being able to guard in the perimeter, defend in the low post, and even hold his own vs. some big men.
He can also create for others as a savvy and intelligent playmaker, and even though he’s never been a good long-range shooter, he’ll knock down three-pointers and score from all three levels when his team is in desperate need of a bucket.
Butler personifies everything the Miami Heat and Heat Culture stands for.
He won’t hesitate to get in a teammate’s face if he doesn’t think the said teammate is giving 110% on every single possession, but he also will be held accountable if need be.
Under Butler, the Heat have made it to the NBA Finals twice in four years, and they might be just one piece away from taking another championship home.
