Fans Are Concerned About Bucks After Recent Losses

Despite having a 30-13 record — the second-best in the Eastern Conference at the time — the Milwaukee Bucks moved on from Adrian Griffin.

They replaced him with Doc Rivers, who has now coached them to a 15-15 record.

Notably, that includes back-to-back losses to bottom-feeding teams, such as the 15-62 Washington Wizards and the 26-50 Memphis Grizzlies.

With that in mind, the fans took to Twitter to rip Coach Rivers on NBA Central’s post about it.

The Doc Rivers Effect. I been saying FOR YEARS this man should be out of the league. I wish nothing but the worst on any franchise that’s still paying this man

Hiring Doc will haunt them till the end

Truth to form, Rivers recently shied away from any sort of responsibility and accountability for his team’s struggles.

If anything, he blamed the team’s travel crew, stating that he’s taken notes about some things that he doesn’t believe they do well enough and stating that they don’t bring enough professionalism.

Rivers also blamed his players earlier in the season, which is something he’s done at every single one of his previous stops in the league.

All things considered, this could and should be the end of the line for Doc Rivers.

No team in the league seemed even slightly interested in his services after yet another meltdown with the Philadelphia 76ers before the Bucks jumped on him after firing Griffin.

Rivers has blown more playoff leads than any other coach in NBA history, and that’s despite having a flurry of talent at his disposal on every one of his teams.

It’s hard to keep justifying him having a head coaching position in the league, and it’s been more than 15 years since he won an NBA championship, something he did with four Hall of Famers in his starting lineup.
